Elected 4th May 2008
Church Wardens provide Sandy
with specific support and advice. Sandy will particularly need support when Marian Curtis leaves in
June & with the Quinquennial Review due later this year. Wardens are responsible for
the fabric of the building (although support for this is given by the Administrator).
The Church Council meets on
Tuesdays evenings 9 times a year to
make decisions about what we do as a church and how we do it, thinking about the direction of the
church, our priorities, our finances etc and they also provide general support for the staff.
Deanery Synod brings representatives of local churches together three times a year and its members are
responsible for electing General Synod and influencing Church of England policy.
