Isaac Mensah has been a ‘sinner saved by grace’ since 1998. He is in UK for a year with Careforce, as a volunteer, and is our assistant youth worker. He says I was born on August 5, 1982, the third son of Emmanuel and Grace Mensah. After secondary school education, I taught in a private junior secondary school for three years. I was admitted to the University Of Cape Coast in October, 2003 and pursued a four year course leading to the Bachelor of Science (Agriculture). During my university education, I became the President of the Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students (GHAFES) - an affiliate of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). God raised me to be the Chairman of the GHAFES Students National Executive Committee (SNEC) for 2006/2007. As well as serving the Lord Jesus Christ through GHAFES and the church, I was the Financial Secretary / Treasurer of the Ghana Association of Agricultural Students while at university. I am also interested in landscape gardening and run Global Lawn Establishment Services - Ghana, which establishes and maintains lawns, flower gardens, parks and rock gardens. In my vision to become a tent pastor, a university lecturer, a public speaker, and an author, I am preparing my second book ‘Symptoms of Backsliding’. My driving force and guiding principle in life has always been Paul’s letter to the church at Colosse, in the Holy Scriptures, which says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward”. (Colossians 3:23-24)
