Blackheath Park              Getting Here
       1 Pond Road London SE3 9JL    8852 1205

We are open to all and you are very welcome.

Our church spire, known as the Needle of Kent is easy to spot from a distance - but how exactly do you get to the church and the halls ?
The church, the halls and the parish office are located on the same site. The main church entrance is off Blackheath Park, and the entrance to the halls and parish office is round the corner off Pond Road
Coming from the south and west, or from the railway station or bus stops in Blackheath Village, you turn eastward into Blackheath Park from Lee Road just south of the roundabout at the south end of Blackheath Village. There are gates - only rarely closed - at the entrance to Blackheath Park; do not be put off - we are open to all.
Coming from the east and north, the way is into Pond Road, turning south from South Row which is the road running along the south edge of the Heath the Princess of Wales pub towards the Paragon. [There are gates halfway down Pond Road which can be closed to traffic in weekday rush hours, but never closed to pedestrians.]

If you are driving please observe the 20 mph speed limit.

PARKING

There is FREE on-street parking in Pond Road and Blackheath Park. But these are Private Roads, subject to clamping, and you must take the precaution of putting a notice on your dashboard or windscreen to say you are visiting the church or the church halls.

This can be hand-written, or you can get a pre-printed notice from the church halls lobby or the back of the church.

Clamping does not take place close to the church during services - but even then a notice makes good sense.

There is very limited off-street parking which is solely for the use of people making deliveries to the parish office or for people running activities in the halls.
