Service Themes
In the summer we will be looking at two of the narrative sections of the bible.
In the morning the early episodes of the life of the church in the book of Acts,
where it all (more or less) goes right, and in the evenings from the books of Kings
in the Old Testament where it all goes wrong. At a time when the Anglican Communion
finds itself under pressure, with many different forces and influences pulling in different
directions, what will enable the church to stay faithful to God and continue to fulfil its appointed
role as a light on a hill and the hope of the world ?
The evening services in August will take the form of Bible studies where we
will read and discuss the passages together.
The Invisible Noticeboard
The Invisible Noticeboard is an address given by Sandy to the PCC in which he sets out seven values that he believes to be fundamental to an authentic Christian community.
