PRISM stands for Preserve, Restore and Improve St Michael’s. The church is fundraising both to restore and repair the exterior of the church, and to improve the interior. St Michael and All Angels, Blackheath Park, built in 1828 – 30, is a Grade II* listed church and the landmark building on the Cator Estate. The spire is renowned as the Needle of Kent and a full history can be found here.

We have put extensive guides online detailing the work required to exterior and interior of the building, along with a breakdown of cost. We are seeking to raise £900,000 from members of the congregation, friends, former members, local residents and businesses through fundraising events as well as from grants from charitable organisations. We ask that you give generously to save and improve a cherished building, which is such a landmark site of South East London.

If you want to contribute, please see the various options on the donate page. You can also check out the fundraising events we have held to date.
